Bola.net – A number of private investors are preparing an ambitious project in the world of football: creating a club whose entire operations are controlled by artificial intelligence (AI). Starting from player selection, match strategy, to transfer activities, everything is designed to run automatically without human intervention.
This idea goes further than the use of AI that has been used by professional clubs. If previously technology only played a role as an analytical tool, now investors want to make AI the “main brain” in decision making.
The leader of the investor group, Gem Ini, emphasized that almost all aspects of club management can be handled by technology. “There’s nothing AI can’t do, except actually kick the ball on the field,” he said.
According to him, AI is even able to imitate the leadership style of legendary coaches such as Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola in providing motivation to players. The technology will utilize a large database of recordings, tactics and psychological approaches from the world’s top coaches.
