President of the United States, Donald Trumpsaid that his party had launched another attack on Iran. The attack targeted the B1 bridge in Karaj, which is the highest bridge in the Middle East.
Reported by the AFP news agency, Friday (3/4/2026) the attack was carried out shortly after Trump threatened to return Iran to the ‘Stone Age”. Trump also posted video footage on social media showing smoke rising from the B1 bridge in Karaj, which is located about 20 miles (35 kilometers) southwest of Tehran.
Trump warned that there would be further destruction unless Iran was willing to sit down at the negotiating table to end the five-week war.

“Iran’s greatest bridge is collapsing, never to be used again-many more will follow! It’s time for Iran to make a deal before it’s too late, and there’s nothing left of what could still be a great country!” Trump said.
Iranian state television also previously reported two US-Israeli attacks on the bridge, saying two civilians were victims. The report said that the second attack occurred while emergency teams were being deployed to the location to help victims of the first attack.
“A few minutes ago, the American-Zionist enemy once again targeted the B1 bridge in Karaj,” the state TV report said.
The B1 Bridge, which is still under construction, is considered the highest in the Middle East with pillars 447 feet (136 meters) high.
