The Blue considers Enzo’s comments inappropriate. He was punished because he was deemed to have violated ethics at the club.
Enzo’s agent, Javier Pastore, was furious with the punishment Chelsea handed down to his client. He considered Chelsea’s actions too harsh for Enzo’s minor offense.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player believes that Enzo does not deserve the punishment of not being allowed to play. He also feels that the punishment for Enzo was also given at the wrong moment.
This penalty was imposed at a crucial time for Chelsea this season. According to Pastore, this will be detrimental to Chelsea because Enzo is one of the important players in the team. Enzo has made 46 appearances this season with 12 goals and six assists for Chelsea.
‘The punishment is completely unfair – banning the player from playing for two matches, which are so important for Chelsea in the race for Champions League places. “He is one of the most important players of the team,” Pastore said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“I think that’s too harsh considering Chelsea’s current situation, and there’s no real reason or justification why he’s banned from playing,” he explained.
This punishment makes the possibility of Enzo leaving Chelsea even greater. Pastore and Enzo will discuss this matter with Chelsea after the 2026 World Cup.
